Fernando's Story

Fernando is a quiet , shy Spanish boy. Like a lot of boys, he loves nothing more than scoring goals - it's a simple joy that means the world to him. And Fernando has scored plenty of goals this year.

That's the good news. The bad new is that Fernando, who has to work in Liverpool in order to earn money to send back to his family, has almost forgotten what silverware looks like. He tries his best, but both at Liverpool and home in Spain, he is repeatedly let down by those around him.

But this June could be different. With your support, Fernando can finally be part of a winning team. We don't believe it's too much to ask - remember, Fernando can't even afford a decent hair cut.
